Accessibility
Last updated 19 September 2026
We want anyone to be able to use this site, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or a phone in bright sunlight. This page says what we have done and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.
What we aim for
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA, which is the standard usually referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What that means here
- Every text colour on the site has been measured against its background. All body and interface text meets or exceeds the 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio, and form field borders meet the 3 to 1 ratio required for controls.
- The whole site can be operated with a keyboard alone, and whatever you are focused on is marked with a visible outline.
- A skip link at the very start of the page jumps straight past the navigation.
- Headings run in order, and sections are labelled so a screen reader can list them and jump between them.
- Every photograph has a text description. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers rather than read out as noise.
- Form fields have real labels, required fields are announced as required, and any error message is read out when it appears.
- Links and buttons are large enough to hit accurately on a touchscreen.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and smooth scrolling are switched off.
- Text resizes and reflows without breaking the layout or cutting anything off.
- The page works with your device set to either light or dark mode.
Known limits
The vehicle photographs are supplied by the shop and described as accurately as we can, but a description is never the same as seeing the car. If you want to know more about any vehicle shown here, call and ask and we will tell you about it.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know, and we will fix it. There is no formal process. Call or text (423) 440-4398 or email AmericanoutlawPT13@gmail.com.
If the website is in your way, it is not a barrier to doing business with us. Phone and text get you the same answer as the form does.
